Is an american organization that collects and distributes royalties for featured performers and sound recording owners (individual artists or labels) when a recording is played on a non-interactive digital service (satellite radio, pandora, internet radio etc).
SoundExchange distributes royalties directly to featured performers. On behalf of non-featured performers (session musicians and back-up vocalists),
SoundExchange distributes royalties to MROC, SAG-AFTRA, AFM’s Intellectual Property Rights Distribution Fund, who then distribute to their members.
